Looks like the Dice Bot is offline, that's why Jetpacks22's .turn roll didn't work. I'm not sure why - maybe they're updating code or something. If it's still offline in the morning I'll figure out what to do.

Lol - I fully expected that outcome and only proceeded because I knew the situation was non-lethal. I don’t think the DM is out to get me - I realize that Hagar makes questionable choices, but bad decisions sometimes make for good stories

You're right, makes for more interesting play. I figured you were role playing his Intelligence level (6). According to the AD&D DM's Guide, he's in the lowest 5% of the population when it comes to Intelligence.

It's a good thing that most of the dice rolls are not used - they're just for possible actions, saving throws, etc. So rolling 1's in this format isn't always bad, it's just possibly bad!

So just a suggestion for the party: From where you are now, it will take 4 turns or 40 minutes to travel back to the Kobold room with the horses if you use Leng's secret passage. You've been going for 10 hours straight in game time, probably a good idea to get some sleep soon. That room is at least somewhat secure, you might consider heading back there for the night.

Do our weapons rolls take our dex or strength into account in this version?

It just means it’s a blade missing a handle, so kinda useless. Strength for hand to hand attacks, dexterity for missile or thrown attacks

...it's been a busy weekend, sorry. So I'm also sorry but in this version of the D&D rules, Clerics and Magic Users can't use bows and arrows. So neither Weert or Leng can use them. (edited)

Traveling pro-tip, something I just learned today: A banana forgotten in the bottom of a backpack will turn to liquid if you take a cross country flight with a laptop sitting on top of it. The experience of having to clean banana out of a laptop - not recommended.

So I’ve had 2 computers crash this week. I use my MacBook primarily for D&D and Discord, and the keyboard and touchpad stopped working. I had to find a USB hub, because only 1 port was working and I had to plug in an external keyboard and mouse, plus a USB drive to backup all my files. Turns out that the battery was bulging badly, so I loosened the case and apparently that released the pressure and the keyboard and touchpad are working again. I think it’s time for a new computer.

Looks like the hosting service where the Dice Bot runs is having an outage. The developer is saying he’s had enough and will be switching hosting services. I guess it’s been down a lot. @OrganicNinja (Jason) I’ll watch and once the bot is running again, I’ll roll for you, unless you’d prefer to do it yourself

Sounds good… I won’t be watching since I have two-million projects today.

It’s back up now, I’m just lazy and hadn’t rolled yet
